These little berries are packed full of Eye Health Benefits, Blood Sugar Benefits, Cognitive Benefits, Cardiovascular Benefits, and Whole Body Antioxidant and Free Radical Support!
How to Choose and Keep
It is best to try and find local blueberries, as they will have the highest amount of antioxidants in them. Frozen organic blueberries are a great option for smoothies. Make sure they have a bouncy feel and are a vibrant blue. Check for any rotten berries or mold. Once you get home place in the fridge and eat within 1 week.
Best way to wash is to submerge in water with a couple tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 drop lemon essential oil. Let sit for 1 minutes and rinse well. You can store extra in the fridge in airtight container once they are fully dry. I love blueberries in smoothies and muffins! You can even place frozen ones in cold water for an antioxidant drink.
